The gorges of Rebenty
Just upstream from the village of Joucou, 6 km from Marsa, the Rebenty had to make its way through a huge block of rock to give birth to wild and spectacular gorges.
It is only by piercing the rock that traffic on the left bank was possible. Built in 1867 to allow the passage of the first cars in the Rebenty valley, this path has made it possible to connect the villages upstream of Joucou (Belfort, Niort, Mérial, La Fajolle) to Joucou and Marsa to then go on Axat or Quillan .
