  • The Pech of Bugarach

    The "pech" of Bugarach is the culmination of the Corbières with 1231 meters. Many testimonies (some very old ones) report appearances or nocturnal lights escaping or entering this mountain. We talk about UFOs, strange lights, etc. Satellites are detected under the Bugarach Peak, strange cavities and a huge dome and it is still currently unknown what is inside and also how to access it. The planes flying over this region are instructed not to go over this area, because all the instruments are disturbed without any explanation.

  • The gorges of Rebenty

    Just upstream from the village of Joucou, 6 km from Marsa, the Rebenty had to make its way through a huge block of rock to give birth to wild and spectacular gorges.
    It is only by piercing the rock that traffic on the left bank was possible. Built in 1867 to allow the passage of the first cars in the Rebenty valley, this path has made it possible to connect the villages upstream of Joucou (Belfort, Niort, Mérial, La Fajolle) to Joucou and Marsa to then go on Axat or Quillan .
